Dr Clodagh Nolan
Dr Clodagh Nolan, Head of the Division of Occupational Therapy

The Department of Occupational Therapy has been in existence for over 30 years and offered one of the first degree courses in Occupational Therapy in Europe. The School offers an honours degree (4 years B.Sc.(hons) degree) undergraduate program, a taught masters program (2 years part time) as well as research degrees to PhD level.  The school is located in the Trinity Centre for Health Sciences, a new purpose built facility for the Health Science faculty on the grounds of St James's Hospital. Teaching takes place in the Trinity Centre for Health Sciences and on the main Trinity College campus at College Green.  The World Federation of Occupational Therapists validates the undergraduate course. A philosophy of self-directed learning and reflection on practice underlies the undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The Department is a member of ENOTHE, the European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education.
