Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Health Services Management

Programme Structure

The M.Sc. Health Services Management programme at Trinity College Dublin is a two-year, part-time programme. The programme commences in September and extends over two full calendar years (i.e. students are expected to complete coursework related to their dissertation over the summer periods following each academic year). 

Course attendance comprises of three-day blocks per month to facilitate work release. Each course attendance day consists of six hours of lecture sessions, plus occasional workshops.

First Year

The academic year runs from September to June, with students required to attend classes in ten blocks of three days (Wednesday to Friday) per month. Usually these three-day blocks fall on the third week of the month.

Second Year

The academic year runs from September to June, with students required to attend classes in ten blocks of three days (Wednesday to Friday) per month. Usually these three-day blocks fall on the second week of the month.

A programme timetable indicating the precise three-day blocks for the new academic year is available from the course administrator and is also published on the Course Intranet.
